Diesel is no longer a dirty word.

Diesel is no longer a dirty word.

In October of 2020, we wrote about ‘tax-beating’ RDE2 diesel cars and provided a comprehensive list of vehicles that were exempt from the 4% BIK surcharge.

Fast forward to today and the good news is that ALL diesel cars now have to be RDE2 compliant so the 4% BIK surcharge is effectively null and void.

Diesel is no longer a dirty word!

Diesel engines provide you with power, fuel-efficiency, and longevity; long gone are the days when a diesel car was ‘heavy duty,’ everyday drivers can benefit from a diesel car too.

If you are a low mileage driver you’ll find yourself rarely needing to fill up and if you are a high mileage driver you will be impressed by how fuel efficient many diesels can be.

What’s not to love?

This week’s best diesel deals include the Skoda Superb Diesel Estate and the BMW 5 series Diesel – just click the links to find out more.
