As we hurtle towards a new year it’s an exciting time for the car industry with a host of new models from Audi, BMW, Mini and many more in the pipeline.
Electric cars are the order of the day for 2019 and the first new model to be released in early 2019 is the Audi e-tron.
The e-tron boasts up to 402bhp and a claimed range of 248 miles.
According to prototype drives the Audi e-tron is capable of 0-62 mph in under six seconds with a top speed of 124 mph.
Audi has also claimed that up to 30% of the e-Tron’s range is accounted for by energy recuperation.
The charging system has a 150kW charging port on offer which enables the e-tron to recover 80 per cent of its charge in less than half an hour.
