Order before 9th November to beat government grant cuts |

In order to encourage new technology, the Plug-in Car Grant (PICG) has provided a discount to the price of over 160,000 new ultra-low emission vehicles over the last seven years.
|
|
Reductions to the grant announced at the end of last week will mean that the grant rate for Category 1 vehicles (full electric) will move from £4,500 to £3,500 and Category 2 and 3 vehicles (part electric) will no longer be eligible for the grant. This covers plug-ins.
|
|
New rates come into force on 9th November 2018 and therefore grant applications before this date will still benefit from the current level of grant. You then have nine months to take delivery.
