In October of 2020, we wrote about ‘tax-beating’ RDE2 diesel cars and provided a comprehensive list of vehicles that were exempt from the 4% BIK surcharge.
Fast forward to today and the good news is that ALL diesel cars now have to be RDE2 compliant so the 4% BIK surcharge is effectively null and void.
Diesel is no longer a dirty word!
Diesel engines provide you with power, fuel-efficiency, and longevity; long gone are the days when a diesel car was ‘heavy duty,’ everyday drivers can benefit from a diesel car too.
If you are a low mileage driver you’ll find yourself rarely needing to fill up and if you are a high mileage driver you will be impressed by how fuel efficient many diesels can be.
